We believe climate change is the most serious threat facing our planet and we are dedicated to making it simple for everyone – individuals, families, networks, communities and businesses – to be a part of the solution.
We aim to give people the tools and information they need to actively combat climate change and demonstrate how a little bit of action from everyone can make a massive positive impact to reduce carbon emissions and help stabilise our rapidly changing climate.

Established in 2009, Climate Action is part of the ClearWorld Energy portfolio of companies. Based in Beijing, the group’s mission is to deliver clean energy for China and thereby mitigate the effects of climate change globally.
Climate Action has chosen to be in China. We have decided to have our international head office in the world’s most populous nation so we can tackle the global challenge head-on. Working from within China – the world’s largest emitter of carbon emissions – is a deliberate commitment to solving the problem.

Looking to the future, Climate Action is sponsoring The Microcarbon Foundation. This is a non-for-profit organisation that has been established to find a bridge between the rapidly evolving fields of microfinance for poor and rural areas, carbon credit development, and small-scale renewable energy technologies.
