The evidence for human induced climate change is compelling. The combination of the challenges posed by our changing climate and a rapidly increasing world population, naturally brings us to the conclusion that we need to switch to a low carbon future. While climate change is real, it’s not too late to act.
We don’t want to list out all of the evidence that point to humankind’s impact on the environment but we can point you in the right directions if you’d like to learn more. NASA, America’s Environmental Protection Agency, Global Issues and The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change all have excellent data and statistics illustrating humankind’s impact on the environment. As NASA puts it: “The current warming trend is of particular significance because most of it is very likely human-induced and proceeding at a rate that is unprecedented in the past 1,300 years.”
We talk about all of the above every day on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. If you have not already, please “like”, “join” and “follow” us on these web sites where you can read more about low carbon lifestyles and carbon credits. Please also feel free to reach out to us on any of the above channels if you have any questions or contact us with your comments and questions.
